Terms of Service (Summary for Checkout)

By placing an order with Skybird Football, you agree to the following terms:

1. Accuracy of Information

While we strive for 100% accuracy, we reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product descriptions and to cancel orders if the information provided was incorrect at the time of purchase.

2. Shipping & Delivery

  • We deliver nationwide within South Africa via third-party couriers.

  • Lead times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by courier service disruptions, "hijacking" incidents, or extreme weather, though we will assist in tracking and resolving any issues.

  • Delivery is considered complete once the parcel is signed for at the provided address.

3. Returns & Consumer Rights

  • Cooling-Off Period: In line with the ECT Act, you have 7 days from delivery to return unused items for a refund.

  • CPA Warranty: All footwear is covered by a 6-month implied warranty against manufacturing defects as per the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

  • Condition: Returns for "change of mind" or "wrong size" will only be accepted if the boots are in original, match-ready condition with no signs of pitch use and original packaging intact.

4. Use of Goods (Technical Disclaimer)

Football boots are technical equipment designed for specific surfaces. Using boots on a surface they were not designed for (e.g., using Firm Ground (FG) boots on Artificial Grass (AG) or hard-court surfaces) significantly increases the risk of injury and product failure. Damage resulting from such misuse is not covered under the 6-month manufacturing warranty.

5. Payment Security

All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways ([PayFast / Ozow / Peach Payments]). We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
